The new art gallery, which has redefined the art scene in Lagos since it’s opening in 2014. The project saw the conversion of a worn 1960’s existing building into a new focus point for the city and a new generation of art enthusiasts. The facade exhibits a burnt wood (shousugiban) technique and a vertical green wall to form the exterior facade. The interior of the building was stripped and reconfigured to create a blank canvas white space for exhibitions and storage.
